Overview
This Refund Policy outlines our policies regarding refunds, cancellations, and billing for the Compr service operated by TaskLifter LLC.
Free Tier
Our free tier includes up to 5 active listings and 10 drafts at no cost. No payment information is required, and there are no charges to refund.
Paid Subscriptions
No Refund Policy
All paid subscription fees are non-refundable. We do not offer refunds or credits for partial subscription periods, unused listings, or any other reason.
Subscription fees are charged at the beginning of each billing period. Canceling your subscription stops future charges but does not result in a refund for the current billing period.
Free Trials & Promotions
If a free trial or promotional period is offered, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand. You will be charged the applicable subscription fee at the start of your first paid billing period.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Here's what happens when you cancel:
- Immediate access retained: You will continue to have full access to your paid features until the end of your current billing period
- No future charges: Your payment method will not be charged again after cancellation
- Automatic downgrade: At the end of your billing period, your account will revert to the free tier
- Data preserved: Your listings and data will remain in your account
Billing Cycle
Subscriptions are billed on a monthly recurring basis. Your billing date is determined by when you first subscribed. You can view your billing date and manage your subscription in your account settings.
Failed Payments
If your payment fails:
- We will attempt to process the payment again over the following days
- You will receive email notifications about the failed payment
- If payment cannot be collected, your account may be downgraded to the free tier
- You can update your payment information at any time to resolve payment issues
Changing Plans
You can upgrade or downgrade your subscription at any time:
- Upgrades: Take effect immediately. You will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your billing cycle
- Downgrades: Take effect immediately. You will receive a prorated credit toward your next billing cycle
Taxes
Subscription fees may be subject to applicable sales tax, VAT, or other taxes depending on your location. Taxes charged are non-refundable except as required by law.
Exceptions
In exceptional circumstances, we may consider refunds at our sole discretion. These may include:
- Extended service outages directly caused by us
- Accidental duplicate charges
- Unauthorized transactions (with proper verification)
Any refund granted under these exceptions is issued at our sole discretion and does not create an obligation to issue future refunds under similar circumstances.

Chargebacks
If you file a chargeback with your bank or credit card company, we reserve the right to immediately suspend your account. We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback so we can address your concerns.
